The record time for Finnish street legal drag cars was indeed 6.95s. and the final speed over the quarter mile was a whopping 330.88km/h.

This was the first time a Finnish street legal car has gone under the 7 seconds and at the same time exceeded the 200mph final speed. (These both are now Finnish records.)

The 1/8 mile time, which is also measured in the race, was 4.57s. and the car managed to reach a speed of 271km/h over this 201-meter distance.(These both are also Finnish records.) We know that in the drag and drive world these numbers are not to special, but it`s good remember that Blacklist Buick car is exceptionally heavy 1510kg on the starting line when other countries fastest cars are mainly race cars style completely full tubular frame, what we have not. We have like original heavy front frame, stock steering system, front suspension etc. in the car, which is required by Finnish law, and here the original frame number of the car is also stamped.

This make also problem to lower car enough.

The car is an original Buick Grand National model, model year 1985,

I have owned a Blacklist Buick car for about 10 years now and at first it was with small rear tires and this same 582cid Brodix a naturally aspirated engine. It went then 8.9second 1/4mile times.

Then we added nitrous oxide and fitted those big Dot-approved rear tires.

For the last 5-6 years, the car has been built with Drag and Drive race events in mind, but we have had a lot of problem to get those second gear big wheelies down, even i like those very much, but timeslip don`t also we have welded our Ati`s lock up converter several times, so that take some couple racing season years in Finland, where you have only couple serious drag race track and only like 3-4 race on the year.

So our testing runs days in the year are same what you can do USA on one or two week. 

Our Goal would be to get Sick Week and Hot Rod Drag week with Blacklist Buick, but it needs some serious sponsors what we don`t have... yet. ;)
