Q: We highly respect Steve Morris mostly for his educational value. We run for, 10,000 RPM Hayabusa powered road race cars.

There’s not a single Racing Oil manufacture including driven, that recommends, in fact they caution against attitudes. What could possibly be the advantage of this? I do see where Rust in methanol fuel engines is apparently abated. Specifically, what are advantages over Racing Oil in racing engines? Ready to learn

Hi Karen,
Generally oil manufacturers caution against additives because not all additives mix well with all oils. There are additives out there that will decrease the effectiveness of your race oil. It's more practical and much safer for oil manufacturers to put out a blanket statement of caution than to do compatibility testing of every additive that comes on the market.

We still use and recommend a high quality race oil such as Driven, Maxima or HPL.

Over race oil alone, Rev X provides additional benefits of:
Reduced Friction
Reduced Thermal Temperature
Increased Efficiency
Shock Load Protection/Maximized Load Capacity

We were skeptical at first too, it wasn't until we saw a difference in the engines of our customers that we started using it.
